Learn how to distinguish fake and inferior stainless steel heat exchange tube products!
By: mxgy,
Stainless steel heat exchange tubes are widely used in daily life, and there are more and more manufacturers, so we cannot guarantee that all the products we buy are qualified and genuine, so users need to learn to distinguish the good from the bad. Here are a few identification methods that can be distinguished with the naked eye.
Inferior stainless steel heat exchange tubes usually have the following characteristics:
① There is no metallic luster on the surface, and it is generally light red/color similar to pig iron.
②The surface is easy to scratch, because the poor-quality pipe manufacturers have poor equipment, the production process is not rigorous and burrs are easy to produce, causing scratches on the surface.
③The horizontal ribs on the surface are thin and low, which is prone to insufficient filling. This is because the manufacturer has too much reduction in the first few passes before the finished product in order to achieve a large negative tolerance, the iron mold is too small, and the hole shape is not full.
④ The cross-section is oval, the density of stainless steel is small and the size is seriously out of tolerance.
These phenomena can be observed with the naked eye!
